Pricing Terms and conditions
Your Booking & Payment+
By booking a party with Dreamscape Kids Entertainment, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Start by sending an enquiry via our contact page. The booking is not secured until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the party, paid directly to your entertainer. Please ensure if you are paying by cash, that you have the correct amount in an envelope. If paying by card, please ensure this payment is done efficiently at the completion of the event.
Cancellation Policy+
All deposit payments are non-refundable. If you cancel a booking with 7 days or less notice, you will unfortunately lose your deposit.
We can however reschedule your booking, subject to availability, in the event of wet weather, illness or any other unforeseen circumstances. If you need to reschedule, we do need a minimum of 3 days notice to carry the deposit over to a new date - just message us via the contact page.
Weather+
We all know Melbourne is unpredictable so it's a great idea to have a wet weather/extreme heat plan. Our entertainers are not permitted to perform in the rain so please ensure there is ample indoor space available to them. With the weight of our entertainers costumes it's for their health and safety that parties must be held indoors should the weather exceed 32 degrees. See areas we service for travel details.
Compliance+
All our entertainers carry valid WWC checks and public liability insurance. Read more on our about page.
Party attendance numbers+
We recommend 1hr if you are having up to 12 children, 1.5hrs if you are having 12-20 children and 2hrs for more than 20- 25 children. If you are having more than 25 children, you are required to have 2 hosts. For schools and larger events see our corporate page.
Do parents need to be in attendance?+
While it's not required for parents to be present during the entertainment, we ask that parents are close by should extra help be required. If the children are less than 2 years old, we do ask their parents stay in the room.
What do I need to provide?+
You will only need to supply the children! Our entertainers will bring all the props, prizes, music and games. Please note their speakers are only suitable for smaller groups of children/venues. If you wish to add a dedicated face painter or balloon twister, we do require a table/2 chairs set up.
Dreamscape Kids Entertainment does not supply party bags/favours.
